​Hickory was founded by Kaylynn Schuetzner, a woman with a knack for communication and an untamed passion for sharing great books with others.  Her advanced degrees in linguistics and creative writing have allowed her to solder together the science of linguistic systems and a honed understanding of creative license.  These skills, coupled with her commitment to integrity, have sculpted Kaylynn’s ethos and editing methods.
